The ePortfolio is about creating a collection of works that reflect the effort and writing process throughout the semester. Because this course is about improvement and development the ePortfolio is a chance to examine the skills you’ve developed, and reflect upon what more there is to improve.

 Digitizing the Elementary Writing Portfolio

(This photo was pulled from flickr's creative commons photos by searching "writing portfolio")

This portfolio requires:

  1. The Writing History (your first assignment)
  2. Up to two (2) red-line revisions of your choosing. (You may only have two revisions.) Each revision must include a text box paragraph explaining the significance of the revisions made, and justifying how those revisions should reflect a grade improvement.
  3. One assignment that shows your best work from the course of the semester, and a text box paragraph explaining the significance of the assignment. (How/why does this assignment reflect your best work?)
  4. One Self-Reflection Essay detailing the skills and progress made over the course of the semester. See the Self-Reflection page assignment sheet for details.

As this portfolio is a reflection of you, work to personalize it. Include graphics that illustrate the texts you provide. (You may use your own photographs, images, etc. or those found in the creative commons. Do not plagiarize graphics.)
