ALT 3 E-tivity: Podcast Episode_NEW

WHY? (LEARNING OUTCOMES):  We will use video discussions in this course (meet Course Outcomes #1, 2, 3, 4). Using video discussions provides an easy way for you to apply course information and self-reflect—valuable study methods to foster learning. As an alternate e-tivity assignment, you can choose ALT 3 E-tivity: Podcast Episode

HOW? (INSTRUCTIONS):  You will create a Podcast Episode on one of the psychoactive substances (alcohol, anxiolytics, caffeine, psychomotor stimulants, opioids, antipsychotic drugs, antidepressants, cannabis, or hallucinogens).

Here is an example of a Podcast Episode

Your objective is to created an interesting audio recording briefly summarizing the characteristics of one of the psychoactive substances (alcohol, anxiolytics, caffeine, psychomotor stimulants, opioids, antipsychotic drugs, antidepressants, cannabis, or hallucinogens), so that an outside observer could quickly learn the information summarized in the psychoactive substance table for that drug.

You can follow the same instructions on how to follow "How to record videos" and just turn the camera recording part off.

GRADING RUBRIC:  This alternate e-tivity is graded based on 10-point scale as follows: Interesting and informative audio - 3 pts , Accuracy - 3 pts (characteristics of the psychoactive substance are accurate), Detail - 4 pts (all aspects of drug characteristics as in the psychoactive substance table are included).
