Assignments provide a great opportunity for students to take the information presented in a module and practice synthesizing it in meaningful ways. Assignments can range from papers, reflections, videos, presentations, projects, etc. Whatever the format, the assignment should be developed to help students demonstrate an understanding of the learning objectives for the module. In some cases, assignments may be an opportunity to practice the new concepts, where, in others, it can actually serve as a test for the mastery of a concept. Rubrics are encouraged and help students understand and clearly respond to assignments and also help you consistently and fairly grade all assignments.
Instructions: Add an introduction to introduce the assignment. Include why you are giving this assignment, and why students should care. Provide the details that students will need to successfully complete the assignment and include how the assignment will be graded.
