Why we are including this example

This page provides an introduction and rationale for why you are asking students to complete the SRI. It makes it an assignment that gives students an incentive for completing it by giving them extra credit points.

Introduction and Rationale

All, I've really enjoyed working with you this semester. I would appreciate your taking the time to thoughtfully complete the SRI (Student Rating of Instructor). About two weeks before the end of the semester, you will be invited to participate in the SRI.

Constructive feedback is most helpful and aims at a positive outcome. Feedback such as providing comments, advice, or suggestions that would make the course better is most useful.

Please note that instructors can only see anonymized student feedback on the SRIs after the semester has ended.

Remember to complete your official course evaluation for ALL of your courses.

Complete the survey online and then upload your receipt (not the actual survey). It should should show your name and the name of the course.

Go to myUVU
Click on the Students tab
Select Registration & Academics
Scroll down to My Class Tools where you will see a link to Rate Instructors
