    Welcome Statement

Welcome Students,

It is an honor to be your instructor this semester. I have been a pilot for 22 years and have instructed in aircraft, classrooms and simulators for 20 of those years. I have taught for Universities, Airlines, Military Branches and Corporations in the U.S., Canada, Asia and Europe. In addition, I have served as an Airline Designated Examiner, System Instructor and Crew Resource Management SME. 

While teaching is a passion for me, I have also "never gotten over the thrill" of flying. I have flown for the world's largest regional airline and currently fly for the world's largest cargo carrier. I’ve landed a plane in each U.S. state and six continents. Some of the highlights of the career have been flying just south of Mt. Everest, seeing the Northern Lights at 38,000 feet, and flying over 14 of the tallest 15 building in the world, all the while carrying some remarkable people and cargo to their destinations.

During my time in the industry, I have also been an interviewer/recruiter. Hiring pilots has been a great experience as I enjoy seeing people achieve their dreams and goals. I have also consulted businesses in hiring practices and conducted interview preparation for many hundreds of aspiring employees in many different fields. 

Please do not hesitate to let me know if you are in need of any help or have any questions, I am here to help you succeed. However, there will be times when I am flying on extended trips to parts of the world that do not allow access to this email account or to canvas. In these few cases, please be patient with me. I will always answer your emails as soon as possible.
