Welcome Statement
Welcome students! Art 2260 Introduces the digital illustrator/painter to software programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Procreate in order to create digital paintings that have the feel of traditional mediums like oil, gouache and acrylic. In today's illustration market it is essential that students are able to work at the speed and flexibility that digital mediums allow. We will develop these skills on assignments that are fun, engaging and increase in complexity as the semester progresses. Upon successful completion of the course students will each have a digital portfolio ready to share with peers instructors and potential employers. So dust of those styluses and get ready to paint with some pixels!
