    Welcome Statement

Hello everyone!

I'm very happy you chose to take this course. This is a modality that I think will work very well with many of your schedules. A few things I wanted to point out as you begin. This course is ASYNCHRONOUS. This means that there are NO live sessions. However, there is plenty of content to go through daily (or at minimum, weekly) on the schedule. Read the full syllabus, and watch the Course Intro video for instructions on all the details regarding how the course will work. Also please notice in the top "Content Resources" module, two resources in particular. Please take advantage of the discussion boards that will be available for each chapter/week. I will pop in and out of the discussion board to see if I can help as well. This will be the best place for questions throughout the course, and I find many students often have the same questions, so hopefully it will help!
