 Education and Experience

Masters (MAS) Aviation Management/Aviation Safety – ERAU

FAA Certified CFI, CFII, MEL, AGI, IGI, and Aircraft Dispatcher

I began flying in 1990 and completed my flight training in 1994 at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ.  I obtained my initial Certified Flight Instructor Certificate in 1994 and actively instructed through 2007.  I am rated in both helicopters and airplanes.  I have flown as a pilot in small single and twins for fire patrol, aerial photography, wildlife survey, air tours, and sky diving. I flew as a Corporate pilot for several years in the Lear 25 and 35 for a charter outfit in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I was also an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor and Chief Ground Instructor for a Part 141 flight training school and managed the satellite base location at South Valley Regional Airport for a Fixed based Operator (FBO).  More recently I worked for the Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) as a Program Coordinator and Professor over the Professional Pilot and Aircraft Dispatch programs. During my tenure at SLCC, I helped develop the flight training operations and was the acting Director of Flight Operations, developed the helicopter pilot and aircraft dispatch curriculum, and was the Interim Associate Dean of the Aviation and Related Technologies Division at the Salt Lake Community College
