Welcome Statement
Hello and Welcome to Health and Diversity! My name is Dr. Sarah Hall and I will be your instructor for the semester. In this class you will learn about about many interesting things including culture, spirituality, gender, race, and vulnerable populations as related to healthcare. This is an entirely online course with weekly deadlines. Be sure you have plenty of time blocked out to devote to the class each week. The required online learning will include readings, "Discovering Diversity" online lectures, "Community Chat" podcasts and videos, supplementary videos, discussion posts, and quizzes. The class also involves "Cafeteria Assignments" in which you can choose the assignments that most interest you.
