This course was developed with Instructional Designers, Julie Swindler and Megan Bates. Besides the required textbook, lecture and instructional materials are presented through interactive StoryMaps. The StoryMaps include graphics, videos, interactive H5P activities, and other materials to help clarify topics and increase student interest. For one of the course projects, students work in groups to research a zoonosis, present their findings to the class, and create questions used to assess peer understanding of all the zoonoses presented. The project is divided into Milestone Assignments to keep students on track.
