1. Compare the soldier's response in All Quiet on the Western Front to the soldiers who used a drone in the assassination of the Iranian general, Soleimani. In what ways might they be similar, and what ways might they differ? 

2. How do you think global conflicts will change going forward? Identify trends that are beginning to occur in military conflicts. 

3. Having anonymous victims dehumanizes the consequences of our actions. What role will compassion play on the battlefields of the future? How should we treat people with opposing perspectives?
