Hi everyone, my name is Dr. Ross Hagen. I grew up in Oklahoma and have been at UVU since 2010. In addition to my academic writing and teaching, I have recorded and performed a variety of different kinds of music over the years. Electric bass and guitar are my usual instruments, but I also enjoy messing around with old synthesizers and weirdo guitar pedals of all stripes.
Education and Experience
I received my B.A.. in Music from Davidson College in North Carolina, and then got my M.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Musicology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
