Welcome Statement
I'm so excited to have you in class. Char Poulton, Assistant Professor - Art History, and I have worked on developing a class that does not require a text book. Not only does this save you $70-80, but it also allows us to include more diversity in terms of the individuals we learn about. We each teach online and face-to-face versions of this course and hope you enjoy them and learn a lot! My pledge to you as your instructor is to be responsive to your emails/inquiries, to be fair, and to put in the time to make this class a good learning experience. I hope you, as a student, will pledge to put in the time to review the material, to complete assignments and to participate in discussions. As we collaborate, your learning will increase.
